The Finished Product
Here is the book in it’s fully printed state. 22 panels, 26 pages, perfect bound, matte finish.
I’m very pleased with how the physical version turned out; the finish on the cover looks and feels professional to the touch, proving itself a worthy investment. The paper quality is good, and the print clarity is a resolution I’m thoroughly satisfied with.
At a glance, this turns something that could’ve been a cheaper zine into a fully finished product. Although I was tempted to make Scavengers a webcomic, investing in a physical copy definitely has it’s merits. As well as making the comic feel more official, a book has a far greater likelihood of being purchased, whereas something like a webcomic loses the appeal once readers are forced to pay, because they’re not getting an item they can hold in their hands.
